Gothic Portrait Necklace with Iolite & Tourmalinated Quartz

A tiny secret, framed in metal. This one-of-a-kind portrait necklace pairs a shadowy art image with rugged, hand-stamped, soft-soldered metalwork. A smoky-colored, multifaceted crystal is embedded in the crown above the portrait, adding a subtle flash between its sculpted points. A richly textured back makes the pendant a statement from either side.

Faceted iolite and tourmalinated quartz bring violet depth and striking dark inclusions, accented by green and clear beads. I handmade the silver-plated wire wrapping and closure hooks.

Total drop including the pendant: 13 inches. Pendant: 3.5 inches tall by 1.5 inches wide. My lead-free solder alloy is 4% silver and 96% tin, not sterling silver.

Handcrafted in the USA. Wipe gently with a soft cloth, avoid soaking, and store dry.
